KMAC was set up in 2000 by Kicks Founder and Chief Instructor; Sensei Chris Kent.
Chris Kent is a 6th Dan in Wado Ryu Karate, and a 7th Degree in Kickboxing (ISKA).
KMAC is an association within the EKF which is the official governing body for English Karate as recognised by the British Karate Federation, European Karate Federation and World Karate Federation.
KMAC offers the back up, expertise, the training and support of a long running organisation.
Membership to KMAC is open to all styles of karate provided they reach the requisite standards and criteria. KMAC adheres to the EKF guidelines on grades and implements all policies of the EKF.

The committee holds tenure for 3 years, and the offices are then open for election.
The A.G.M. takes place in April of each year, and only dan grades of 16 yrs and above are entitled to vote.
