•    Began Kickboxing in 1993 under Instruction of Chris Kent and Nick Clarke.

•    Obtained Black Belt in 1999

•    Second Degree in 2009

•    Started off as a fighter and represented Kicks at the NAK Championships in 1997. Moved onto Instruction and to cornering his own kicks fighters. Mark has also organised Kicks kickboxing displays and helped with Kicks kickboxing team events.  

•    Teaching: Began as assistant instructor to Jim Caldecourt, assisting in first junior then senior classes. Has taught in various locations throughout Sussex .  Mark set up his own club in Peacehaven in 1999, and since 2006 has had his own Black Belt Students under his instruction.

•    Has attended Instructor Courses with Chief Instructor Chris Kent .

•    Has attended  First Aid, and Child Protection Courses.

•    In 2008  passed his ISKA Judge and Referee Course with Robert Mason (ISKA Chairman USA)
